Installing the LCI Solid Step Lift Assist Kit https://www.loveyourrv.com/installing-the-lci-solid-step-lift-assist-kit/⠀ In this video, I install a companion product to the Lippert Components Solid Step RV entrance door stairs. The Solid Step Lift Assist mounts next to the RV entrance doorway, and a gas strut attaches from there to a bracket connection on the Solid Steps. Once installed, the steps can be retracted and deployed with just one finger.⠀ ⠀ Installation was quite straightforward, involving swapping out the existing top mounting and door latching plates with modified versions. I then attached the gas strut and its metal enclosure inside the RV right next to the doorway. New mounting nuts, bolts, screws, and hardware are included in the LCI Solid Step Lift Assist Upgrade Kit. Only minor tools are required, such as standard wrenches, Philips screwdrivers, and a power drill. After more outdoor fun, head into Spearfish town where there are 3 great breweries that I love: Spearfish Brewery, Crow Peak, and Sawyer Brewing.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ? Drive towards Buffalo, WY and into the mountains.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ? Camp in the Bighorn National Forest. There are so many great campgrounds for less than $20/night plus a ton of free camping!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ? Don’t miss one of the best hikes in the US to Lost Twin Lakes while you’re here.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ?‍♂️ Climb Ten Sleep Canyon. Our fav routes her include Circus in the Wind 11b, Death Flake from Hell 10a, and Mr Poopy Pants 11.b, Halfway House 10b, and more!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ? Head to Ten Sleep Brewery for music, good vibes, and order their delicious lemonade beer. It’s soooo good!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ?‍♂️ Now to Lander to climb in Wild Iris. There’s great camping here but if you’re towing a big rig, camp in town at Sleeping Bear. This is also where we stay when we need a shower!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ? Hit up Lander Brewery before heading to the Tetons⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⛰ Hike to Delta Lake or Cascade Canyon⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ? Free camp in Darby Canyon and hike to the Wind Cave before hitting @grandtargheeresort for some epic MTB⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You could squeeze this into a week but I’d recommend 10-14 days to get the most out of this road trip!!!

Last week I edited all the video sessions from our virtual #RVESummit and included in a few bits and pieces of our hosting throughout the weekend. I had to grab a screenshot of this particular moment for two reasons. ⁣ ⁣ 1. We didn’t get to have a photographer (or an in person Summit obviously) which means in all my most recent professional photos I am hugely pregnant. ⁣ ⁣ 2. It looks like I’m sweetly smiling at my husband but in reality I just told a joke and died laughing because I think I’m hilarious. Meanwhile I’m checking in next to me to see if Heath is also endless entertained by my joke but he just keeps on hosting the live stream like some sort of professional!! He didn’t even laugh! But clearly you can see in my face that I am holding out hope that if I laugh enough, he will join in ?⁣ ⁣ Moral of the story: I cannot host a conference without real life people in the audience to laugh with me because Heath clearly cannot be trusted. #throwback
