Horrible. Aside from the camper listed as “brand spanking new” and having an assortment of issues such as broken awning, broken bathroom vent, damage throughout interior and exterior, I even was told to hang power cord outside of camper so that it didn’t fall in and unable to retrieve. But the owner bought a set of new tires that one (at least) was bad. Tread separated, tire exploded, caused damage to wheel well and undercarriage. And response was that “I” have insurance to cover things. Well, “I” was provided an unsafe vehicle with a faulty tire that the owner purchased. All the while giving my wife and I a ride of a lifetime. But in the words of the owners associate, “just put the spare on and you’ll be fine”. I have attempted to reach out to owner for her to understand what took place and end response appears to be the contentment of taking my deposit and using my insurance. As if there is zero liability in what is provided to the renter, regardless of condition or quality. It’s like renting a hotel room that the newly purchased furnace broke down and I’m being told I have to fix it. And what adds insult to injury is that one hour earlier to this happening someone stops me to tell me there’s a bad noise coming from the camper wheels. Roll windows down and definitely hear something like metal grind or brushing of sorts. Get out and look for something even though I am no expert. See a bunch of grease and something missing from one tire so I stop and ask what to do in regards to continue or not. I’m told they have always had issues with it and I will be fine to come in. An hour later the “other” tire explodes. That’s what the owner and her associate make sure to point out. It’s a separate matter they say. You know, because we all know where sounds come from traveling down a highway at 60 miles per hour. And the concept that telling me what I may have thought was a problem has, in fact, been wrong for years and would not be the problem of my current situation. And I should be just fine to continue. However, there was still a problem. And then we found out what it was. But hey, keep on coming to return it because “I” have insurance to cover it. Words of wisdom for the day. If someone states the vehicle has a problem then tell them to stop. A renter should also expect to receive their rental as advertised and in safe and working condition. I did not and unless someone does the right thing this will not be over for me.
