Was a rocky start to begin with as outdoorsy doesn't say there is a need to schedule a specific pickup time, so be aware there is needed flexibility in that. For the actual pickup, messaged and waited for over half hour at the stated location. To then call outdoorsy and be referred to rental agreement which is where I found direct contact info. Rental was scheduled from Thursday - Sunday. No pickup or return time listed on agreement.Then went to new spot for pickup. And received a good demonstration of setup and promise of a video link to reference. Video link did not come until I called with a setup issue and additional inquiry if video could be sent.All the parts are in decent shape on the tent, but definitely well loved. The key for the straps (not the Velcro ones) only works for one of the straps, and the one that doesn't work well is also zip tied at the bottom. Did not notice it until I was unpacking so was grateful there was a safety issue on the drive.On first stop to get ice, the pin came completely off of the caribeaner it was attached to with a flimsy ring. Was charged 9.00 plus a service fee for that ring that broke.Was then on return not given any return instructions.Through the app or via direct text. No cleaning list, no where to return or where to park, nothing. Only a lock box code in case I needed it upon return. Dropped off, communicated where I parked and that keys were in the lockbox.Next day I get a 99.00 charge for cleaning of a Cordova cooler, when I had already paid a 75.00 cleaning fee on outdoorsy that said we'll do the cleaning. The cooler only had ice and cans in it for the duration of the trip, was never taken out of the back of the truck where it was at, except to empty it of ice and cans before returning. There was literally nothing in it. And was not any dirtier than when I got it. Entire rig and inside of tent was cleaned out of any trash or personal effects, as was the truck.Extremely disappointed with both the app rental process and the host through this process.Updated: the host says that charges for cleaning fee and cooler are charged after. And his only charge passed on was 3.00 for the clip. See photo if interested. Helps explain the 99.00. But still think the process needs to be better, as does the communication.
