Host was late to the pickup and arrived with a different RV than the one we reserved. Within an hour of pickup the generator stopped working (and therefore so did the air conditioning- in the 100 degree Las Vegas heat). Turned out it had no oil in it. Several days after our trip started, received an email from Outdoorsy saying that since the host didn’t inform them of the swap of RVs prior to our departure, we were not covered by the insurance we had purchased thru them. Despite the fact the website says we’re required to have this insurance, they wouldn’t transfer it. Host agreed to put us on his insurance for duration of trip, which he did, though with our names spelled incorrectly (would we have really been covered?). The next day host said Wheelbase (the host website; Outdoorsy is the customer website) was giving us the insurance. One day a flat no, saying it’s impossible; the next day it’s done.
This was our first Outdoorsy rental. It did not leave a good impression.

Minassie provided a great rental experience. Showed us what was available, let us choose, and even provided chairs and a tent, cutlery, and all of the items we might have needed during our trip. Return was simple. Would definitely rent from him and Jumbo Campers again with no concerns.

RV had everything we needed as a family of 5. We had 3 young children for a road trip during a heat wave and the RV was great! We ran the generator as well as the AC from the engine while driving and it kept us nice and cool. Minasse was very helpful, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Minasse was great to work with! Helpful, quick message responses. It was so nice to be picked up at the airport with our vehicle ready to go and explore. The van was clean and stocked with camping supplies. The mattresses were comfortable. One thing to note, if you add the extra storage box on the hitch the clearance is quite small and could restrict you on some more remote roads. All in all, our family had an unforgettable trip!

We had an amazing experience exploring Zion, Grand Canyon and Lake Powell! Minasse truly thought of everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Minasse took my booking on last minute warning after my original renter had an unforeseen issue with his rv.
He was very clear in his instructions on how to operate the rv and we felt comfortable taking it out to Death Valley to an astronomy festival.
