I am a dedicated triathlete/Ironman and my wife and I enjoy the flexibility of travel to races with IronVan. I built my first van at home in my driveway and garage. One of our first guests asked if I could help them build or buy a van after their trip. They chose to buy IronVan 1, forcing me to decide if I wanted to build another. Another guest also rented our first van, after a builder delayed the delivery of her conversion by 6 months. She called me and asked if I would be willing to take over the project, a sort of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" request, her last hope. I decided that I would return to the van builder world I left 50 years ago and launched Funtrail West with the approval of Funtrail Columbus, a van conversion upfitter now owned by my brother.
