The communication was great, getting the camper and dropping off was easy process. Just the AC didn’t work and was told on the posting it did. And the break light was out when we picked it up and they didn’t have a bulb to replace.Other than that, everything was good!

We had a great time camping and couldn’t have been happier with the campground and our time together. Unfortunately, Brian decided to unfairly charge us for “damages”. I attached pictures of the brownie and stain he took issue to.I don’t have social media and I’ve never written a review about anything. This is strictly about principle.
When arriving at the campground, we begun to unpack and get the camper set up. Brian did a nice job listing instructions. Among those, he stated the door can be fidgety and was very peculiar about setting it up properly. We followed the directions, pushed in the metal brackets, and twisted the plastic locks accordingly. After this point, we were fighting the door the rest of the weekend. One of the plastic locks popped out on day 1, we set it to the side, and moved on with our night. Fast forward to the end of our trip. We wake up, load up our vehicle, clean out our belongings, do a 5 minute sweep, and get on our way.
Brian decided to charge us $75 after the fact (Outdoorsy holds a credit card for $500 in damages in case anything happens). The 3 things he charged us for…
Stain on a cushion
“Smeared” brownie on the ground
Stripped plastic lock from the door
No idea about the cushion (pic attached), we slept, changed, and ate snacks in the camper, everything else was outside. We also have a 3 yr old and a 1-1/2 old. It’s certainly possibly they spilled something.“Smeared” brownie- this one bothers me the most. Brian numerous times acted as if we threw brownies all over his camper (the attached pic is what he sent me and also his words, it was “1/4 of a brownie”). Again, we have little kids, and things happen. Would have cleaned it up if we saw it. More importantly. THERE IS A CLEANING FEE UP FRONT. Why would he continue to tell me he is including this in his $75 charge? Does that look like something that takes an excessive amount of time to clean up?As far as the stripped out plastic lock, it happened day 1 and in his directions, he made specific note of it being a little fidgety. When he asked me later how things went, I replied that it went great. I said this b/c I figured that’s just what happened to his door and was part of the price/experience we paid for. His camper is 20 years old. Yes, the floors are re-done, but the original frame is in tact.I’ve rented countless amount of airbnbs and vrbos. This is my first time using outdoorsy. I have no issue with Outdoorsy.I do however have an issue being charged $75 for a brownie my kid left on the floor (we paid an initial cleaning fee on top of this), a stripped plastic lock from a 20 year old camper frame, and a stain on a cushion that we kept our luggage on the entire time.I would never use Brian or his camper again and I highly suggest that you don’t either.
