Now that we're "empty nesters" we have more freedom and love to get out and wander. It's even more awesome in the comfort of our Sprinter Van. We have been fortunate to wander the world and want to share our wandering adventures with you! We are especially fond of the national parks that are just a day's drive away. From our home base, we also love taking extended road trips throughout the west! Let us help you with your wandering. Oh, and we love dogs too! Your furry friends are always welcome to wander along side of you!

Kathy and Thomas are outstanding hosts! They explained how to use the van and gave instructions as a backup. Great van with solar and generator to use in the wild outdoors. Rufus the camper van was well stocked for everything you would need for camping. Clean accommodations and made to feel like home in the woods; so cozy! We highly encourage camper van lookers to choose Rufus you’ll enjoy the accommodations. Kathy and Thomas truly care about their guests!

Rufus is a gentleman. Rufus is also a motivator! Our “mini” Grand Circle of five iconic Utah national parks (plus Monument Valley thrown in) was a huge success. That’s partly our over planning, partly a great van, and great support from Tom and Kathy!

Tom and Kathy were so kind and responsive! They even sent us great recommendations for hikes during our trip. The van was in great condition. This was our first time renting a van and it was a great trial run to learn what we would like to have in our own van one day! The fridge and freezer was big enough to hold enough food for the 2 of us for almost every meal for 10 days. There isn’t a ton of storage space in the van for clothes, not unexpected, but we made it work with our duffel bags and shuffling things around between driving and sleeping. The windows in the bed area were very nice to get a breeze in at night without turning on the AC. Overall an awesome experience!

Best host out there! Get ready to get compliments on Rufus pretty much everywhere you stop:) It was our first time experience staying in rv while camping, and gosh what a difference comparing to traditional camping. Everything sets up in a blink of an eye, a real time saver! Thank you Kathy for being so nice to us and for all the arrangements!!!

Very well stocked van with all the bells and whistles. Solar powered fridge was our favorite feature as well as the comfy bed and awning.

Tom and Kathy were wonderful to work with !! They gave us suggestions of places to visit. Rufus was fully stocked and we had everything we needed!! We received compliments on Rufus at most of our stops. We were dry camping and never needed anything. Great experience!

My pup Otis and I had a great time with Rufus Von Wasatch - the van was comfortable, with everything we needed included. I even managed to cook Pad Thai for our group of 8 at the campsite in the small but mighty kitchen :) The van drives like a dream and Tom and Kathy were super helpful when I had questions or needed help with anything. Pickup and drop off were easy too!
