Host was incredible -- super open, calm, kind and generous. We did have trouble with the A/C while we were out there and did get pulled over once because yellow school busses are not technically legal (even though this one was 50% white ish -- no ticket though). Great for 2-3 people but will be SUPER tight for anymore.

The bus was very dirty and did not match the photos in the listing. Functionally, this RV is in no condition to be rented.
- Mold in fridge
- Toilet started stinking up the whole bus before we even attempted to use it.
- Many personal effects taking up space in drawers and cabinets. Pack of cigarettes. Half empty bottled water. Non-working flashlights, empty propane fuel canisters. Caulk gun, random parts in bins and boxes, as if the unit is in the middle of being worked on (it was definitely in an unfinished/rundown condition)
- Very limited cookware. Backpacking mess kit, not made for real cooking. No utensils whatsoever.
- No showerhead on shower - listing claims to have a working shower.
- No solar - listing claims to have solar, but it was completely nonoperational.
- The fridge ate up all the power of the generator and it was not able to regenerate with solar. We had to pull the generator out, find an outlet to use to charge it, and store our food in someone else’s RV while the bus’s power was down.
- Bus’s battery mysteriously died and we had to jump it. Keys were out of the vehicle and no fans or lights appeared to be running, yet something was pulling power. When going to jump start the vehicle, we noticed that the hood had been popped the whole time. Had driven for 2 hours on highways with the hood popped.
- Door lock fell inside the door when attempting to lock the vehicle while stopping to go food shopping. Spent 30 min taking the door apart to recover the lock core and repair the lock.
- Bed was not made at all. Bare mattress. No fitted sheet was provided. There was a top sheet and some blankets, but the bed was not put together at all. Presentation and vehicle prep was lacking and not in line with the photos in the listing.
- Photos show toaster oven. This was missing.
- Did not match photos at all. The pictures were clearly taken years ago. Rooftop deck was very weathered and has numerous peeling boards, yet the photos show a new and pristine deck. Overall, the photos painted a very different picture than what we experienced. We expected a nicely renovated bus conversion, what we received was a half-put together, half broken work in progress bordering on being unsafe.
- Had I not been a handy person who travels with a multi tool, the door lock issue would have been a real issue. Had we been in a more remote area further from electrical service, we would not have been able to restore power. There was no usable shower as described. The unit was functionally compromised in almost every possible way.

Tolles Fahrzeug, mit viel Liebe ausgebaut. Sternenhimmel, weiches Bett. Es gibt nur einen Sitz mit Anschnallgurt, was die Sicherheit beeinträchtigt. Exzellente Kommunikation mit Hash.

It was a very unique experience to ride the magic school bus to Yosemite Valley! It's very well-maintained and looks just like the pictures. Hash is an excellent communicator. 10/10 experience!

Such a fun bus! Great host & communication. But drive well, kept us warm, had all the amenities we needed and was a great adventure!
