The RV is a perfect size and very easy to manoeuvre. It is a bit older and Dan takes very good care of it, mechanically and aesthetically. He was very thorough with showing us how everything works and also provided a video. Dan also was very good at answering any questions we had. We were provided with both a hitch bike rack and storage rack as well! If you're new to RV'ing, this is a great start. I'd definitely rent from Dan again.

Super family holidays with "Claire" (nickname of the RV) across the Vancouver island. It was a very convenient size for a family of 4 with 2 kids (4 and 6 years old). The RV is not the most recent one, but works perfectly! The mechanics seems super well maintained and everything is in very good shape. In addition, Dan provided lots of stuff to make the trip perfect. We highly recommend this RV.

Loved Dan’s RV. Perfect amount of space for 4 people and the space was efficiently used with plenty of cupboards for storage.
Rv drove well, the ac was a godsend heading eastwards in July and we really had a fantastic trip.

Dan was a very helpful host. As novice motorhome users, we appreciated the orientation he provided before we embarked on our trip. The motorhome, although, an older model, was easy to drive, had a backup camera and was surprisingly fuel efficient (v10). It had all the components we needed with 2 front captain chairs and a dinette with 4 lap seatbelts, cell phone holder. It comfortably slept 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog (in crate). As city slickers, it was nice to sleep in beds and still hear the forest sounds. Although we didn’t use the toilet and indoor shower (campsite had bathrooms), we found the outdoor shower helpful to wash off the sand from the beach. Also, the fridge and freezer were great for leftovers and kept drinks cool. Other amenities included cutlery, dishes, kettle, camping chairs x 4, portable table and screens on windows to keep bugs out. We used our own bedding and pillows. A fun way to “camp” with kids! Excellent!! Dan was extremely attentive and helpful. We loved our roadie! Would definitely do again and recommend this RV!

Fantastic RV! Had everything we needed for our family of 4 (kids aged 5&6) for a big trip with lots of stops along the way out to Banff/Jasper and back. East to use and setup and size is nice and easy to handle on windy Canadian roads. Host was happy to be contacted and available to troubleshoot a couple of small things. We had a fantastic time, recommend!

We travelled with a family of five for 11 days around Vancouver Island and to Whistler in the end of April, beginning of May. Dan is a really nice host. He responded quickly and adequate on our questions before and during the trip. The motorhome is well equiped and easy to drive. We stayed off grid for two days without any problems.
The motorhome is an oldy so do not expect a modern vehicle. But everything works well. We even had an axe and the kitchen has an oven and microwave. On the colder days the furnace/heather kept us warm.

Shout-out to our host Dan for making this a very memorable and seam-less experience (It was our very first time renting an RV). Being our first time, there were elements of fear (operating and parking a big rig, plumbing and electrical etc.); on top of that, we were not sure if our host is picky and uptight (Imagine an army drill sergeant…boots have to be polished, toilet cleaned with a toothbrush etc.)
Our fears were refuted the moment Dan walked out of his house, wearing a big smile on his face. He did not seem too bothered with the fact that we were first timers, “have you driven a moving truck? It is the same thing”. Sure enough, the RV was a beauty, with enough power to get us to where we need to be and compact enough to have excellent maneuverability. There is a back-up camera installed, which made light work of parking and doubled up as a rear-view mirror on the road.
My partner and I took the RV on a 4-day winter trip to Vancouver Island and had an absolute blast! The RV came with everything we needed (kitchen appliances, utensils, RV water pressure regulator, and even gloves for the grey/black water tank). Although an older unit, the RV was very cozy (We were at an RV Park facing the ocean…Imagine the howling wind at night while the furnace kept us snug and warm).
If you are considering renting from Dan, and still on the fence; definitely pull the trigger already!

Great motorhome, no issues while on our trip. Backup camera works great. Owner has great communication and very thorough with tour of motorhome and how everything works. We had a great time, would recommend and would rent again!
