A retired Army Colonel of Infantry-- with over 31 years in Uncle Sam's military. Former member of the National Intelligence Community. Business owner of multiple companies, past and present. Husband of just one wife but father of seven adult children and grandfather of two boys and a girl. Have traveled all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and three of the United States Territories, as well as many foreign countries. Deployed in uniform nine times to six countries on three continents, as well as two island chains and Central America. Outdoorsmanship and RVing are hobbies, as well as genealogy, photography, videography, and family time— especially with grandkids. I reside in a Swedish-design Coastal Douglas Fir Log Home out in the woods with my wife, a rescue dog named Orville, good neighbors and neighbor dogs, horses, chickens, roosters, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, deer, bears, birds, bees, bats, and a cougar prowling around our dead-end country lane off of a dead-end country road.
