À propos de Chris D Scherer
Our first Big Trip included two Support Ladies (Captains), 12 others, and Pinkie (Dashboard Dog). We drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, met the other 12. We then rode our bicycles ~500 miles to Missoula, Montana, meeting our awesome Captains for lunch, shade and liquids. The next year we drove to Calgary and met one of our Buddies who flew. We started our ride in Banff and did a 450-mile trip around the amazing Canadian Rockies.

orientation, provided so much documentation, and required their consent/agreement, so that they understood the responsibility. All of the fees were clearly outlined in multiple places, all of which they both signed.Clean Interior: Prior to their pickup, we thoroughly cleaned every surface of the RV and have pictures. They signed that the
interior was clean and noted no issues with the cleanliness of the interior. They left the coffee filter with coffee in the coffee
maker. The pot was dirty. The coffee mugs had coffee on the outside and were in the drawer with all the other kitchenware.
As such, we had to clean every drawer, cupboard, and contents. The stove likely had coffee in it from the counter, as the 'drip'
appears to come from the top of the stove cover. We have pictures of all of this.Trim Repair: The air freshener was in the bathroom. At some point, it fell (remember, iRV is top-heavy and wobbles, which
we discussed when they were leaving our wobbly driveway) and ruined the trim when they opened the slideout. During the
orientation, when they opened the slideout, we very distinctly said (with Dana on one side and her spouse on the other), "Be
sure to watch and remove any items between the slideout and the wall, as items will get stuck and break something." I even
showed (and noted) the damage to the driver side trim because of something getting stuck between slideout and wall. I also
let them both know that items will move, which is why they needed to check that everything is secure...along with checks
before opening/closing the slideout, departing their camp site, etc.FWIW, they had 362 alerts (mostly speeding) on the GPS. The agreement (which they signed) indicates a $50 charge per
occurrence. We charged them nothing for this.Otherwise, the rental went well.
