2007 Bigfoot RV Motorhome
Ready for an Alaskan adventure with your family? Rent this well equipped motorhome and have a wonderful vacation to remember. This RV is perfect for a couple or a small family.**Please note: The motorhome is is tip-top shape! We unfortunately had to Cancel a booking last August (review) due to a safety issue noticed on the required owners test drive. The catalytic converter went out and we felt is was unsafe to rent as it would not pick up road-ready speeds. This part has since been replaced by our mechanic and the motorhome is ready to get back out on the roads again!**This motorhome features 2 slide outs, 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the main area. It sleeps 2 adults in the bedroom and up to 2 more people, on the dinette conversion bed. Nice bathroom, hot shower, and fully stocked kitchen. There is also a TV & DVD player in the main living area that can be used while connected to shore power or while using the generator. The RV has a manual awning for rainy days and also has folding chairs and a small table.Ce qui est inclusFresh linens, 6 pillows, towels, extra blankets, 2 large camp chairs + 2 camp stools, camp table, cooler, lanterns, and flashlights.Kitchen: Mr. Coffee maker, cookware, 4-person table settings, cooking utensils, knives, and silverware.Lots of indoor and outdoor storage.RecommandationsTravel anywhere your hearts content on the paved roads of Alaska.
Drive the Seward Highway down the Turnagain Arm and take in all the sights of the Chugach Mountains and bounding wildlife. Continue on the highway to the picturesque town of Seward or veer to the right at the Y to visit the famed Kenai River or drive an hour further south to reach the charming seaside town of Homer, our favorite locale.
Drive north and visit the historical town of Talkeetna or Denali National Park where you can take a bus into the park for more wildlife exposure or continue on to Fairbanks or Chena Hot Springs and possibly stop by the Santa Claus House in North Pole.
We highly recommend taking a boat tour out of Seward or Whittier or a fishing charter out of Homer and also stopping at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center on the Seward Hwy MP 79. Autres points à signalerNo pets or smoking. Also, no fish or other seafoods are to be processed or kept in the RV. Use the cooler for this purpose. Please stick to RV parks with electric hookups for your evening stays. The generator is a backup to dry camping and should be used sparingly.Dirt roads longer than 2 miles in length are highly discouraged.RV must be returned with the propane and gasoline tanks full and the sewage tanks (black/gray water) emptied. There is the option to pay a fee of $25 to have the sewage tanks emptied by the owner. Select this add-on if you prefer not to hassle with this and the owner will take care of it for you. Please note; owners have a dog that travels in the motorhome and it may not be suited for a person with allergies to dogs.No RV pickups on weekends or July 4. Drop off on weekends are okay per owner instruction. Pickup and drop off address is 1020 M Street on Monday thru Friday. Ask for Tito at the front desk. Pickup between 9am-4pm on first day and drop off by 4 pm on last day..

We’re a small family of 3 (Alison, Tito, and Siena) and have a dog (Winter) that travels with us when camping. Our favorite AK towns to explore are Homer & Seward and Talkeetna. Now it’s your turn to make fond Alaskan memories!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
Pickup: The motorhome needs to be picked up at: 1020 M Street, Anchorage, AK between 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. My husband, Tito, will briefly show you the basics of the motorhome and off you go on your adventure. There's an owners/user manual for renters to assist with this.
Drop-off: The drop off location is the same as the pickup location and can be returned on the weekends. Motorhome must be locked when left at this location.
