Our band new Opus OP15 Hybrid Off-Road Caravan is available to rent. These are one of the best true - “Off-road and Overland” capable travel trailers in the world. Think Jeep and Airstream had a baby - Opus is an Australian brand that makes some of the best, luxurious, dependable, and off-road capable trailers. There is nothing else like these currently in the U.S. and have just recently been imported here into the States. This is one few travel trailers, and only “Hybrid” type trailer in which you can actually camp off-grid, and be able navigate rough terrain to get there. It took us almost 2 years to get one of these imported into the states. Our Opus trailer has undergone a completely upgraded battery and electronic component set up. It’s more than twice as capable as the stock Opus units and power of 7 car batteries. This is perfect and really capable set up to be able to Overland, camp off-grid, or enjoy any of the more remote Hip Camps without facilities. You will not see many Opus trailers out the wild, and our caravan is one of the few OP15s that is actually available to rent.
Please reach out to discuss setting up a rental package. We prefer to book an inclusive / flat rate trip compared to nightly rental charge. This will give you extra days for travel, packing, cleaning, and other logistics to make your life easier without incurring extra nightly booking charge.Ce qui est inclusThe Opus has a dry weight at just over that 5K mark, so capable of towing with light trucks, SUVs, and some of the modern Jeeps now. The unique compact design makes towing much easier and fuel efficient when driving as when the trailer folds up its only 15’ long and under 9’ height when towing. The trailer is about the same size of a large SUV and tows nicely as you can still see clearly through side rearview mirrors as its only 7’ wide. When you have arrived to camp and ready to set up - the top pops up for an interior height of 6’5”, and the back folds out to accommodate a real full size king bed. The unique Opus “hybrid” design allows for much more room and comfort inside the trailer, as the kitchen and cooking area is all located on the outside via slide out draws. This allows for an actual king bed, bunk beds, bathroom/shower, and small kitchenette seating area all inside. And tons of real usable storage doors inside! There is no other camper like this here in the United States and the Opus OP15 has become one of the most sought out travel trailers in the “pop up / hybrid” market. We have upgraded our trailer to make it safer and more capable than the stock units. Trailer has following: 4 x 100watt solar panels, 3 lithium batteries totaling 360AMP houses, 3,000 watt inverter, and upgraded solar controlling and battery monitor to manage everything. Garmin back up camera which syncs up to Garmin Overland GPS unit that can be displayed in your tow rig. Inside the unit there are a variety of extra USB, USB-C, and 12V “cigarette” type plugs to charge devices. We have also added extra LED lights all over the trailer to light up your camp and set a cool vibe. With the upgraded Lithium batteries and solar charging capabilities there is plenty of power for your adventures. Meaning - you can actually camp off-grid and Overland in luxury and comfort….to the point where its almost cheating…..The Opus Caravan is available either bare bones empty….or fully loaded with pretty much everything you need to get out camping and overloading. Most people will opt for the Overland Package has you will not need to pack and kitchenware /cook items and will have access to a second fridge. More importantly, as it will include ability to see the backup camera which makes parking and back up the trailer much more manageable for first timers. This is also simply a great safety feature as well for driving. Please inquire about adding the “Overland Package” which would includes following:-Portable Electronic Brake Controller that works via App for your tow vehicle
-Garmin Overlander GPS unit for your Tow Rig
-Rearview trailer camera which hooks up to the Garmin Unit (extremely helpful for backing up and highway driving)
-Fully stocked kitchen with necessary cookware, pots pans, silverware etc…
-Second 55L Dometic 12V Fridge / Freezer
-Additional 100 AMP lithium battery and power back for second fridge
-Keriug Mini K Cup coffee machine that runs off inverter
-Bed sheets for King Bed, and Bunk Beds
-Assorted camp blankets and pillows if needed
-Camp chairs, tables, Hammocks, lights, other fun items to set the camp vibe….
RecommandationsThe Opus OP15 Caravan is a perfect set up for off-grid camping, Overlanding, tailgating, or setting up a basecamp at your group site. The unique set up with a king bed and bunk beds, also makes this great for families. Our Opus Caravan has upgraded electronics and batteries which makes this an ideal trailer to take to a remote camp site or place with “no hookups”. Most family RV campgrounds are packed in together onto of each other. Recommendations are to take this to any local Hip Camp site, State Forrest Camp Sites, “primitive” camp sites in State Parks, or try out a more family oriented campground and you can get away from the crowds with a basic site. However this trailer is just as perfectly suited for a family campground - where you can plug into power and be able to then run the air conditioner unit during a hot summer trip. With the smaller size you can get access to better camp spots. You also do not need a true dedicated RV camp site. All you will need is access to either 30AMP or regular 110 outlet and water hose. The trailer is off-road capable and can be leveled, so you don't really need a flat / paved RV spot like the others.Recommendation - If you have done plenty of tent camping at various parks and family campgrounds - try out a HipCamp or venture into a primitive camp site in a state forrest to get away from the crowds. Most HipCamp sites are “primitive” and have little to no amenities, so the Opus Caravan will allow you to camp and access these sites in comfort with your own toilet, shower, and power! Most owners are accommodating and can give you access to water if you ask. Idea would be to locate a cool site and try to communicate with owners ahead of time to get access to water via regular garden hose. That way you can save on the weight and tow the trailer “dry” until you get to camp and then fill up on water.
Autres points à signalerYour vehicle must have a towing capacity of at least 5,100 LBS, tongue weight capacity of 410 LBS, 2” standard receiver, and standard 7 pin wiring harness plug. If you don’t have an electronic brake controller we can supply you with a portable plug (you must then opt for the upgraded Overland Package). If you have a lighter duty truck, SUV, or 4x4 that is limited to the 5K towing capacity - then your plan would be to drive/tow the trailer “dry” and arrange for an appropriate type of camp site with necessary hookups or facilities. The GVWR of the trailer is just under 6,400. If you have a more capable tow rig, than you can load this trailer up with necessary water and supplies and really get off-grid camping. It is possible to easily drain the fresh water and grey water tanks prior to departure, and just be left with the 10 gallon black tank / weight on your ride home until you can hit a dump station. If you are interesting in doing some “boondocking” or off-grid camping, we can give you some recommendations based on your vehicle set up. If you are headed to a normal campground with hooks ups - a 30AMP hook up or regular 110 outlet will work fine. Although the camper is set up quite nicely for Overlanding, you must be hooked up to shore power in order to be able to us the AC Unit.

Ryan’s rig is great. He did a thorough walkthrough with me and was available for any questions. It has everything you need and kept my whole family comfortable. Highly recommend!

The RV was well-equipped and worked well. Ryan was super helpful during pick-up and drop-off. Would recommend 10/10.

Ryan was in incredibly easy to work with and knowledgeable about his caravan. I had my previous plans fall through THE DAY BEFORE we were supposed to leave on our trip so I was scrambling. To my surprise and joy I was able to contact Ryan and he responded almost immediately letting me know his Opus15 was in fact available and he could get it ready for us on less than 24hr notice. I had seen the Opus15 before and was a HUGE fan prior to the rental. This is an incredibly practical rig. I myself like to camp but my girlfriend is not the biggest fan of bugs (LOL) on top of the heat wave that hit, this caravan was a life saver. Solar powered battery allowed for us to bring both frozen and refrigerated food. I fully expected to bring a good bit of cooking supplies but to my surprise he had us covered for everything. The rig is extremely easy to park, level, and pop out (research helped but Ryan did a great job showing me everything). I have towing experience but this was a super easy tow. KING BED! Fantastic!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
Trailer can be picked up from King of Prussia, Wayne, Ardmore, and Allentown. We prefer to set up more of a "flat rate" trip rather than a daily booking charge to allow for some flexibility and extra days to pack and clean up trailer. For instance - if you are looking to plan a weekend camp trip, pick up would be Thursday and return Monday to allow you extra time, and less stress. Feel free to contact us to discuss putting together a trip.
