Please Read Below FOR Info ON Winter Bookings.I have called this van home for months and years at a time since 2021, after pouring blood sweat and liters tears into the creation. The design all came from my mind:-) It has served me incredibly well as a full-time rig with all of the basics, plus some flare!*roof racks will be added upon request*The van is setup for a virtual handoff. Once booked, I will send the Vanual and a video describing everything in the van. It's a perfect budget option for those of you ready to test out low-budget van life, or go for a week/end getaway in the mountains.LET MET BE Clear: This is by no means luxury accommodation! Hence the low nightly price. This is best for those who are okay with rough around the edges (literally) and some things without a pretty finish on them. Best for climbers, hikers, dirtbags, campers, ski/snowboarders who are okay with living and thriving with basics.Once booked, I will send the VANual and a video with details of the entire van, so that remote handoff is possible.Winter Bookings: I have not spent nights in the mountains in the winter time with Shelby, so I cannot attest to the comfort. However I have camped in 30 degree weather in the desert and with my mummy sleeping bag I was okay. If you wish to do camp in the winter or take the van to the mountains, please bring a very warm sleeping bag. I will provide snow chains, and a buddy propane heater upon request. There is a down comforter included already, plus an additional blanket.Shelby is a beast - since I bought her in July 2021, there have been very minimal trips to the mechanic, besides maintenance. She is incredibly reliable, has great power, and can get through the Rockies with ease! High clearance and back two snow tires means she's okay to take on Some dirt roads. You’ll notice quickly that dirt roads that are 4x4 only, will NOT be doable. She is big, so she will be slower when climbing the Rockies, stay in the right lane and keep trucking! The solar and electric system is powerful and easy to use, requires virtually no messing with except for turning the dimmable puck lights on when the sun starts to set.Comes equipped with lots of camping gear, kitchen essentials, cookware, stove, sink, 5 gal. potable filtered water, vent fan, and DC outlets to keep all your devices charged. (No "AC" units, only car DC outlets for USB and USB-C plugs). If you want to travel with 2 people but do not want to sleep in the same bed, there is a tent and twin size air mattress (and pump) that you can setup. No toilet available. For human waste while camping, I would recommend the true LNT way - dig a 6 inch hole at least 200 yards away from any water source, do your biz in nature (best with a view)! There is a caddy for this purpose complete with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, a shovel, and wipes. (Wipes are NOT biodegradable, please pack in pack out).Although it is possible to cook inside the van, I highly recommend utilizing the camp table to cook on, or the fold-out attachment on the side door. It will be much less cramped that way!Shelby is very easy to drive, fits in most parking spaces. She’s long, but she’s definitely easier than you think to maneuver!Ce qui est inclus- All phone cables

Rocky Mountain National Park is about 1.5 hours away and is a great option for a scenic drive and wildlife spotting (make sure to register ahead of time!).Autres points à signalerNo smoking in the van.The van is not to travel beyond the greater Colorado area. No Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, nor Grand Tetons. These are too far. Some parts of Utah are okay, but the van is best for Colorado exploring. If more than one person would like to drive, you MUST add them as a verified driver.

• Please always message me to ask anything! I'm pretty easy-going. This van has gone to plenty festivals and events. No problem there as long as you're responsible and don't drive under the influence - EVER. No exceptions. Hard rule.
• Please no smoking cigarettes in the car! Other CO-things are fine, incense is fine, etc., but would prefer you keep the door, fan, or window open. Sitting on the bed in the back with the doors open enjoying a smoke is the best.
• Please just let me know if you break something. Things break, it happens. I break loads of stuff. Just let me know, we will figure it out.

Miranda was wonderful to work with, incredibly accommodating and flexible. Shelby was the perfect camper van for us, not fancy but very functional. We had everything we needed! Highly recommended and would definitely book with Miranda again.

Renting Shelby was such a delight! You can tell how much time and love there has been put into her, and she’s a great camper van for people wanting to try it out.

Shelby is the best! I took on a long weekend adventure driving to trailheads around Colorado on my own. I felt completely confident and never had any issues.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
Very flexible! The setup is designed for a VIRTUAL no-contact handoff if need be! You will pickup from 3768 N. High St, a few mins drive from the 38th and Blake train station if coming from the airport. We can communicate and set it up in advance depending on when you arrive.
Q.How many people can go in the van?
R.
There are only 2 seatbelts in the van, so per Outdoorsy rules and insurance rules, you may only travel with 2 people inside the van. If someone is to meet you at your destination, there is a tent and air mattress in the van as well for use, but the 3rd person may not travel in the van with you.
Q.How many beds?
R.
There is one large 2-person bed in the van, however if there are 2 people that want to sleep separately, you can setup the tent and air mattress at your campsite.
