2020 Ford Transit
This camper comes fully loaded with everything you need for a luxurious glamping trip across the US! Haul your bikes, golf clubs, camping and hiking equipment- you name it!Past Renters’ Favorite Features:
32" smart TV, coffee maker, 72-can capacity fridge, memory foam mattresses
(see the 'What's Included' section for a complete list)Our favorite thing about this van is the space! The high roof has an interior clearance of 6'1" and the extra long model (22ft) provides plenty of space for 3 people, including 1-2 full-size beds, 3 Ford factory seats, and a kitchen pod with fridge!Converted by VanDOit (DO Model) out of Blue Springs- check them out!Heating & Cooling:
Dometic rooftop AC*
MaxxAir Deluxe air vent (rooftop; all-weather, adds additional cooling and acts as a vent to avoid condensation in the van overnight)
Espar heater (pulls from van's gas tank, only uses about 1 gal/night)*Appliances are powered by a lithium battery, that is charged by plugging it in to any standard outlet. The battery also trickle-charges by rooftop solar panels and from extra energy created when you drive the van.Boondocking/staying at a primitive/dispersed campsite off-grid without electric? The AC can run 4-5hrs on full blast off a full lithium battery alone. For hot summer months, we recommend staying at campgrounds with electric hook ups. You can also add on our gas-powered generator to recharge the battery as needed. The heater is powered by the van’s gas tank, using about a gallon/night, so having enough battery power for off-grid camping is very unreliable in cooler months.Staying at campgrounds w/electric hookups? You'll have continuous power for heating/cooling/cooking by plugging in- you won't need the generator. The van has a 15/20amp plug outside that charges the lithium battery. For campsites that only have 30amp or 50amp plugs- we provide an adaptor.Want to see the van in action? Check out our Instagram @findyourblue_kc Ce qui est inclus32" LED smart TV, HDMI cable

- Dog seat beltRuffland Performance Kennel (FREE)- (Large 22"W x 35"L x 26.25"H) designed for safer, more comfortable travel for your dogRecommandationsNew to camping? Look at KOAs- they're reliably clean, in safe and convenient locations, and offer RV sites w/electric hook ups, as well as cabins. They typically have a large public bathhouse (we choose our campsite next to or close to the bathroom). Cost $40-$100/night. KOAs have 3 levels (Journey, Holiday, and Resort), with Resort having the best amenities but also being the most expensive. When you book, you'll select 'Van' 22ft and no slideouts. If van doesn't show results, try 'motorhome'- sometimes they're settings don't include vans. Pro tip: when selecting your site (for the best view and distance to the bathroom)- pull up the campsites map AND look at their campground on Google Earth. Some KOAs are in great locations for a view (like Devil's Tower KOA), but you'll really get to enjoy it if you pick your site wisely!State Parks are also a great, low-price option, but can be hit or miss on how nice their amenities (bathrooms specifically) are.Want free places to stay? In addition to most Walmart & Cracker Barrel parking lots, look at the website for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). They're off the beaten path, less crowded, and many allow free boondocking and dog-friendly places to explore. Take long hot showers for cheap at Pilot Flying J or Love's gas stations, or at national gyms like Planet Fitness or 24hour Fitness.Looking for a more high-end experience? Google 'camping resort' for your destinations. 'Resorts' typically cost $70-$120/night but have resort-style amenities and much nicer (sometimes private!) bathrooms. For road trip itineraries, visit the Find Your Blue website. We have a growing list of dog-friendly guides with our favorite road trip stops through each state under 'Itineraries'. We use Roadtrippers, BringFido, and Tripadvisor to plan our trips. Additionally, we look at Hipcamp and Free Roam to help us find find great campsites, filtering campsite type, ratings, cell service, and price. We also share our travels out of Kansas City on our instagram @findyourblue_kcAutres points à signalerIf you choose the pick up option, please bring a second person with you. We do not offer secured parking of your personal vehicle.**CHOOSING YOUR INSURANCE AT CHECK OUT**
WINDSHIELD DAMAGE IS THE MOST COMMON CLAIM ON CAMPERS. Please note that Outdoorsy’s insurance fully covers repair costs, but replacements require you to pay the deductible you chose. The replacement cost is $900. Unfortunately, regardless of the cause, you are responsible for replacement if damage occurs during your rental. Stay away from semi trucks! Should an accident or damage occur to the van, please contact us asap for assistance.

This was a fabulous experience all around. The hosts are an amazing couple. Very friendly and accommodating with drop off and pick up arrangements. They spent a good deal of time explaining the operation of all the van's features. The van is extremely well maintained and well outfitted. We will definitely rent from them again if we go back to Kansas City.

This experience exceeded all expectations. Our hosts became instant friends because of their thoughtfulness, hospitality, and communication. The van is fully loaded & entirely equipped to easily facilitate life on the road. The hosts made preparations a breeze. We would do it again in a heartbeat. What an adventure & spectacular way to discover what the world and mother nature has to offer❤️

Find Your Blue is a phenomenal camper van and we had a wonderful experience with the hosts. Tina & Josh are friendly with GREAT communications, even before delivery inquiring exactly how we wanted the van set up (Vandoit vans are very modular if you've never tried one). Absolutely everything one would want on a trip was in the van (and even more). They reviewed all the various features so that we were ready to roll the next morning. The ride was good (it's a dually) and very little wind sway cruising down the highway. Would rent again in a heartbeat. PS and our two dogs loved it also!

Incredible weekend trip in this van! It was easy to drive and so stable in the Kansas wind. We had chilly nights outside but perfectly warm inside with the heater. Our dog was so happy with the rugs and no spill bowls! We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Josh and Tina, they were so kind and explained everything so well. Can't wait to plan another trip!

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
There is no sewage and no water hook up. The kitchen sink pod is supplied by a 6 gallon removable water tank that is pumped to the faucet via a hot/cold water pump. It is then drained by gravity into a 6 gallon grey water tank. When the dirty tank is full, you empty it. When the clean water is empty, you fill it.
We do not supply a toilet with our van. You'll have to take care of business elsewhere.
For electric, see the FAQ re: How do I charge the Lithium Battery for appliances in the van?
Q.Can I use a blow dryer or other high wattage item in the van?
R.
Yes, however, the inverter can only handle 2000 W at a time. Your standard blow dryer is about 1800 W. Anything that heats or cools usually has a higher energy need. We provide a low wattage blow dryer in the van. Every appliance in the van is under 2000 W. However, you'll likely only want to run 1-2 items at a time. ex: Keurig Mini is 1425W- you won't be able to blow dry your hair (1000W) and simultaneously make coffee. Make sense?
Elec Kettle- 700 W
Elec Skillet- 1200 W
Q.How do I charge the Lithium Battery for appliances in the van?
R.
Easy. There is a 15 amp plug in (think of your standard house 3 prong) outside the van. We provide the extension cord for this. Many campgrounds have this plug in type as an option. You can also charge at a friend's house, at a baseball field light pole, anywhere you can find a standard 15 amp 3 prong plug in, really.
For campgrounds with only 30 or 50 amp plugs, we supply an adapter for you to use.
DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG BEFORE DRIVING AWAY. Yes, we've done this. Would not recommend.
Q.Can I leave my dogs inside the vehicle unattended?
R.
For short periods of time, under remote supervision via the Waggle app (a temperature and humidity sensor) we personally have left our dogs parked in the shade, roof vent running and max AC on, unattended in our van during mild climates. You too will have access to the Waggle device and app to use with your judgement.
We are not responsible for your dog's well-being in or out of our van. It is up to you to judge the situation and advocate for your dog's health.
