2020 Airstream Airstream
We are happy to introduce you to Oscar, our 2020 19 foot Caravel. While the Caravel is new to us, it’s name sake was our adored, 20 year old dachshund. Oscar, the dog, and Oscar, the travel trailer, have a lot in common. Both long, sleek, full of character with the ability to turn heads everywhere they go!We are so excited to be able to share Oscar with people who want to have an amazing experience on the road. We will make sure all of your needs are met and you have everything you need to have a worry free adventure.
Here’s a little more about the amenities Oscar has to offer:
Fully equipped kitchen includes refrigerator/freezer combo, microwave oven, 2 burner gas stovetop, coffee pot and fully stocked cabinets for all your cooking and eating needs. The bedroom has a corner bed with cozy bedding and enough pillows to suck you in at the end of the day. The bathroom has a separate sink, toilet and shower. The dinette in the front of the trailer, with panoramic windows, converts to a bed that will accommodate two small adults. The seats are covered in waterproof, faux fur covers to make it a little more cozy.
In general, for longer trips, Oscar is best suited for 2-3 people or 2 adults and 2 children as he is quite spacious but not overly large. We have slept 4 adults comfortably over the course of a long weekend. There are shades and curtains for privacy, awnings on three sides of the trailer, in cabin furnace, on demand hot water heater, A/C, solar power, Wifi (please inquire for further details), TV (with cable hook-up), bluetooth stereo and BlueRay player. Hi! We are Kellie & Jason. Proud new owners of an Airstream Caravel 19 foot CB! We had our first trip in an Airstream this past holiday season. It was such an amazing experience, much of which is owed to the owner of the Basecamp, Eva, we rented, that we weren’t even back from our trip when we started talking about buying an Airstream! We were quite lucky to have found this Caravel still available and since it was slightly used, we did not have to wait a year plus to get it.
We have two dogs, Ned, a four year old rescue mix, and Nora, a five month old mini-dachshund puppy! We love our home state of Maine and want to make your trip to the area the best possible. Just let us know what you are looking to do and we are happy to make suggestions.

Jason and Kellie were great hosts. We were newbies to Airstreams, and they patiently explained all the workings and helped us feel comfortable and acclimatized. The Airstream was very well equipped with all we need to make our trip as excellent as could be. A great experience all around!

Kellie and Jason were wonderful hosts. They delivered Oscar in mint condition, with many thoughtful touches added, and explained everything to us thoroughly. I would highly recommend renting from them!

Oscar was perfect for our first adventure with an Airstream travel trailer. We stayed on property at Jason's and Kellie's (in the Oscar) our fist night in Portland taking in the city. After a quick tutorial with Jason and hooking up Oscar early the next morning, we were off and running to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We stayed 3 nights at the Bar Harbor campground which was the perfect setting for us. Setup was easy, definitely recommend a campground with "full hookups" if it is your first time with a travel trailer. The Davenport's could not have been nicer or more accommodating with us as "newbies." Would definitely do it again! Thank you Kellie and Jason!

We’ve been thinking about what we’d like to do when we retire ( coming up quickly ), and traveling across this beautiful US of A is at the top of our list. But before we took the leap and purchased an RV, we decided it would be wise to try one out a time or two first.
Renting Kellie and Jason’s 2020 19 ft Airstream for a long weekend at Acadia National Park was the perfect way to get our feet wet.
The Airstream was in perfect condition, clean and well stocked with essentially everything we needed to set up camp, cook meals and, most importantly, to relax on our trip.
Communicating with Jason and Kellie was outstanding. They responding quickly to any and all questions, before and even during our trip. Jason spent hours with us the morning of our departure going over in detail how everything worked and was connected, making sure we were comfortable with the operations of this exceptional RV.
We had a wonderful time in Acadia and thoroughly enjoyed our first RV experience- in large part thanks to Jason and Kellie’s attention to detail, graciousness, communication skills and willingness to share their beautiful Airstream.
I would highly recommend them

Kellie and Jason helped us make a dream come true! Oscar was the perfect first-timer experience and came with everything we needed (and then some!!). They were very flexible and accommodating on a multitude of things with us newbies and we appreciate their support of this LGBTQ couple.
