- don't store fish and shellfish in fridge. We're trying to keep everything fresh for the next guest
- when van is in motion, fans should be closed and off, water pressure shut off
- purchase insurance package through Outdoorsy. If a renter is unable to get approved upon pick-up, typical cancelation fees will applyDogs allowed with pre-approvalUpon return:
- Fill the gas tank. If you are unable, we'll take care of it for the cost of gas plus $50
- Empty cassette toilet in appropriate location. If you are unable, we'll take care of it for a $100
- Empty grey water tank in appropriate location. If you are unable, we'll take care of it for $100
- Remove garbage and clean dishes. If you are unable, we'll take care of it for $100If an issue arises, please contact us before fixing the problem. During the rental, you are responsible for:
- ensuring the fluids are maintained
- tires are in good condition

Authorized Driver(s) shall be permitted to drive on forest service roads and similar unpaved roads provided that: (1) Our vans are 2×4 and not intended, or allowed, to be used in a true off road setting, heavily wash boarded roads, or overgrown trails that may result in scratch damage to our vans. (2) If you are outside of the prescribed area, or are deemed to be on a non-approved road, all costs associated with towing, repair and damage to the van shall be borne by the renter. (3) Cascade Adventure Vans is the sole determinant of non-approved roads or other unapproved use of the vehicle. Shoulders, unimproved campsites, and any unpaved roads that are not forest service roads or of similar quality to forest service roads are generally non-approved and “use at your own risk”.

My wife and I couldn't recommend renting with Lucy the van and Merrily more! We had a great time exploring Washington and the national parks in an experience unlike anything we had done before. This van has everything you need, and more. Plenty of space, comfort, kitchen and dining needs. I'm 6'1" and didn't have any trouble with standing height or bed size. The van handled all terrains as well and was provided in immaculate condition. Merrily and Todd were very accommodating to our schedule, responsive, and great to work with. We hope that the next users have a wonderful trip!

The trip, and Lucy (the van) were great. Lucy was well-designed and well-furnished. The owners had prepared a manual and instructional videos that made it easy to understand the different systems and features. We had a few minor issues en route, but nothing that interfered with the enjoyment of our trip to the High Desert in southeast Oregon.

Lucy is an incredible van! She’s got everything you think you could need while out on the road. Merrily & Todd were fantastic hosts and made sure everything was running smoothly for our trip. Would absolutely rent Lucy again next time we are up in the PNW!

We have a pdf manual and instructional videos for the van that we send out after booking. Makes it super easy to get up to speed!
Q.How much luggage fits in the van?

2 carry-ons easily fit into the garage area of the van. Large suitcases will also fit, but you will need to pick and choose which items to stow in the main part of the van.
Q.Do I need to stay in a campground?
R.
The solar panels and 30 gallon water tank make it easy to boondock or stay on Forest Service roads without the need to hook up to shore power and water.
