[disclaimer - there might be some very slight differences in the pictures as I have various similar setups, but these are all the same models. Feel free to ask if any questions !][Important : please make sure you read in details the insurance that Outdoorsy provides, because it's NOT good in BC. I strongly advice for you to have an extra travel insurance covering rentals]Instagram @retroridescanadaAvailable in Vancouver (ideally for long bookings only, more than a weekend, or with an additional fee for short rentals) or in Squamish !1995 Ford F-250 XLT Camper TruckThis truck runs on diesel, which is a major plus in terms of gas mileage. If you’re lucky you could get down to 15L/100km on the highway (gasoline go up to 25L).This is an old truck yes, but it is in pristine condition. It's been taken care of by the same person for the past 20 years.- 5 seats

ps : This is a 30 years old camper-truck, so you can expect (especially after so many rentals) some small stains here and there or the camper to not be pristine clean every time (after all it's mostly an adventure rig). It did happen in the past that the previous renter didn't really clean all the dishes/glasses etc carefully. It's not realistic to go through every single plate and all between each rentals, but if that's really important to you, there's an add-on with which I will spend an extra hour looking at all this in detail to make sure it's perfect when you come in.Ce qui est inclus- Everything you need to cook, eat, drink etc
- 2 camping chairs (extra)
- Linens, duvet etc (extra)
- Baby seat (25lbs to 120lbs) (extra)

Fabulous trip thanks to Alex’s truck. Really authentic and typical, fully equipped with a lot of spaces to put you stuff. Alex was always really quick to respond and help sorting out any issues we had.

Alex was a great host, always available and answering questions patiently and promptly. The camper worked perfectly and I had no issue whatsoever. Alex gave a thorough walkthrough and provided all the information in a printed document so you don't have to look for it or remember anything. This was my first camper/RV experience and I was not disappointed. The camper is easy to drive. The bed was comfortable and the fridge worked nicely. The fairy lights are a very nice touch that made my evenings even more enjoyable. I definitely recommend.

Vous avez une question ?Obtenez des réponses directement auprès de l'hôte

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
It's pretty much totally flexible, reach out to me and let's figure something out

Q.Is the camper suited for winter ?
R.
100%. This is a 4 wheel drive truck, with winter tired. The heater is very powerful and will keep you warm and dry, there's a hot water system as well if you really need a hot showing after a rough day.

Q.How does it work for power ? Can I stay off-grid ?
R.
There are solar panels (200w), and the battery is being charged with these, also while driving, and also when plugged in a campground. This is designed to be staying off-grid most of the time.
